Trudy at a glance
Meet 'Trudy' (also known as KENholmes), a vibrant addition to our collection, bred by Kenny in 2022. This organically grown shrub rose adorns your garden with its beautiful, medium-sized (5–8 cm), semi-double red flowers. Although it is unscented, the vivid color and abundant flowering from June to October more than make up for this. 'Trudy' is a repeat-flowering rose whose robust character and excellent health make it a radiant focal point in any setting.
With a compact height of 60–80 cm, 'Trudy' is extremely versatile. It feels equally at home in a sunny border or in a pot on your balcony or patio (from Ø 40 cm). Its excellent health and repeat-flowering nature make it an ideal choice for anyone who wants to enjoy color for a long time, even with just a minimum of 4 hours of sunlight per day. A perfect rose for both beginner and experienced rose enthusiasts.
At Belle Époque Rose Nursery, we draw on more than 40 years of family expertise in growing roses. 'Trudy' is organically grown and SKAL-certified, guaranteeing a strong and healthy plant raised with respect for nature. We ship this beautiful rose as a bare-root rose in November, directly from our nursery in Aalsmeer to your garden, ensuring top quality and expert care.
Forty years of nothing but roses
Belle Époque is a family business, not a wholesaler. From our greenhouses in Aalsmeer, we have been growing only roses for over four decades — and every plant we send out is personally selected by us. This way, you receive not a catalog rose, but a plant ready to grow.
"Beautiful climbing rose, bloomed abundantly in the very first year! Well packaged and exactly what I expected based on the description. Belle Époque truly delivers top quality."
"The rose is well packaged and looks beautiful. Fast delivery, and the personal advice via email was very valuable — I wasn’t sure where to plant it."
"Amazing quality & service. I ordered two New Dawns and they are developing beautifully in the garden. Fast shipping from Aalsmeer to Belgium — would absolutely order again."
