About Japanese rose Sola

Imagine a rose with the serene beauty of a clear Japanese autumn sky. Meet Rosa ‘Sola’ by Wabara, an exceptional spray rose that Belle Époque Rose Nursery is proud to add to its exclusive collection.
Sola has a character all her own. Her softly rippling petals combine warm lavender, dusty rose, and beige-brown tones. Toward the center, the flower takes on a subtle sandy glow. No two flowers are exactly alike, and the color changes with the light and as the bloom opens. It is precisely this natural imperfection that gives Sola her distinctive, almost painterly appearance.
The name Sola refers to the Japanese word for ‘sky’. The rose is inspired by an open landscape beneath a clear autumn sky, where soft grasses and warm earth tones come together. This story beautifully reflects her calm and understated character.
The flowers appear in graceful clusters, forming an airy cloud of soft colors. This makes Sola a wonderful choice for borders, among perennials, or in a romantic cutting garden. She is also exceptionally decorative in a vase. Her relaxed flower shape and refined colors make every bouquet natural, stylish, and just a little different.
Sola is not an everyday garden rose, but a rose for enthusiasts looking for something special. Thanks to our collaboration with Wabara, we can offer this Japanese beauty directly from our rose nursery in Aalsmeer. A rare rose in which Japanese craftsmanship, natural elegance, and the experience of Belle Époque come together.
