'Awakening', also known as 'Probuzeni', is a charming climbing rose that evokes the spirit of times gone by. Its lush, double flowers in a soft pink shade emit a moderate, pleasant fragrance that enhances any garden. This organically grown rose, introduced by Böhm in 1935, blooms tirelessly from June to October, bringing a touch of romance and nostalgia to your outdoor space for months on end.
With an impressive height of 250 to 500 cm, 'Awakening' is perfect for training along pergolas, walls, fences, or even as a tree climber. It thrives in a spot with at least 2 hours of sunlight, making it suitable for north-facing walls or partially shaded locations where other roses struggle. After flowering, this rose also develops decorative rose hips, providing additional ornamental value in autumn and winter.
