About Annapurna

The Annapurna rose, also known as 'Neige Parfum' or 'DORblan', is a majestic presence in any garden. This large-flowered shrub rose, introduced by Dorieux in 2000, enchants with its beautiful, pure white, richly filled flowers that release a wonderfully strong fragrance. Its classic elegance and impeccable colour make it a timeless favourite, perfect for creating a serene and romantic atmosphere. Organically grown, the Annapurna guarantees natural beauty and vitality.

Standing 60-80 cm tall, the Annapurna is highly versatile. It feels at home in borders, where it forms a radiant centrepiece, but also thrives in pots from Ø 40 cm on your balcony or patio. From June to October, you can enjoy its repeat-flowering beauty, with its large flowers (8-12 cm) opening time and again. The Annapurna is also an excellent cut and pick-your-own rose, ideal for filling your home with its intense fragrance. After flowering, it surprises you with decorative rose hips.

Care & Plants
Plant de Annapurna roos met kale wortel bij voorkeur tussen oktober en april, wanneer de plant in rust is. Kies een zonnige plek (min. 6 uur zon) met goed doorlatende, voedzame grond. Graaf een ruim plantgat, zorg dat de entplaats net onder de grond komt en houd een plantafstand van 45 cm aan voor optimale ontwikkeling. Na het planten goed water geven.
Snoei de Annapurna roos in het vroege voorjaar, zodra de ergste vorst voorbij is (maart/april). Verwijder dode, zieke of zwakke takken en snoei de overige takken terug tot 3-5 ogen boven de grond, of tot ongeveer 15-20 cm. Dit stimuleert nieuwe groei en een rijke bloei.
Geef de Annapurna roos tijdens droge periodes regelmatig water, vooral in het eerste groeiseizoen. Voor een optimale bloei en gezondheid bemest u tweemaal per jaar (in het voorjaar en na de eerste bloei) met speciale organische rozenmest. Een laag mulch rond de basis helpt vocht vasthouden en onkruid onderdrukken.
