Inspired by the roses in still lifes and old masters, we set out to find roses that were popular when rose growing reached its peak during the beautiful era. The time when the most lavish roses came into being. Dramatically beautiful roses with a rich scent that bear splendid names, each with its own story. Roses that have wrongly fallen into oblivion and that you only occasionally find in castle gardens, at palaces, or on estates. In our search, we selected varieties that, through their timeless beauty, are a contemporary showpiece for every garden or terrace. Cultivated in minimal quantities, under the name Forgotten Roses, now exclusively available at Belle Epoque.
